The 2026 LAHCSA Cinema 64 Hour Film Festival is a creatively rigorous and fastpaced filmmaking challenge in which teams of filmmakers engage in a highly collaborative competition over the course of 64 hours in one weekend. Teams of student filmmakers are assigned a unique film genre and challenged to infuse required story elements into a short film no longer than six minutes & forty seconds (6:40).
